The working days of the consular section are Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri.

Q. What are the working hours?

A. The hours are as follows:

Timings for Submission of Applications - 9:30 am to 12:00 pm

Timings for Collection of Visas/Passports - 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Q. How much time does it take to obtain a visa for Pakistan?

A. Visas are delivered on the Second day between 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

Q. Can any body deposit passport for obtaining a visa?

A. No. Applicants have to personally submit the visa application in the High Commission. However, chief executives of multi national companies can send their office secretary to submit the application on the behalf.

Q. What are the requirements for obtaining visa?

A. Following are the requirements for obtaining visa:-

a. Visa application form duly completed with no column left blank.

b. Two passport size photographs.

c. Passport having at least six months validity.

d. Photocopy of Passport.

e. Photocopy of air ticket/flight schedule.(except Business Visa)

f. Company letter of introduction and invitation letter from Pakistan for business visa only.

g. Bank deposit slip.

Q. How is visa fee deposited?

A. The visa fee is to be deposited in favour of High Commission for Pakistan account No. 100020014413, at Affin Bank Berhad, Central Branch, Ground Floor, 80, Menara Affin, Jalan Raja Chulan, 50788 Kuala Lumpur.

Q. How to obtain a visa application form?

A. The visa application form can be downloaded from the web site or can be collected from the Consular Section of the High Commission

Q. What are the requirements of student visa?

A. In addition to the requirements mentioned above, a student must submit a no objection certificate of Ministry of Education/Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Wisma Putra) Malaysia,
no objection certificate/approval letter from Ministry of Interior of Pakistan and a letter from the Institution in Pakistan stating that admission has been granted.

Q. What is the visa fee for Malaysian Nationals?

A. As follows.

a. Visit/Tourism/Study Visa

(1) Single Entry - RM 30.00

(2) Multiple Entry - RM 60.00

b. Business Visa
(1) Single Entry - RM 50.00

(2) Multiple Entry - RM 100.00

c. Visa fee for non Malaysian nationals can call Tel: 21618877 exten 122 to find out visa fee of requested country
